STORY TELLING TROUGH DANCE

In this two-day workshop, Danish choreographer Signe Fabricius will explore story telling through dance.
Signe will work in her distinct choreographic style, combining elements from jazz ballet and physical theatre into a new way of creating a narrative through intense physical expressions. Signe will be working through various new choreographic material, creating and exploring together with the participating dancers.

Signe Fabricius is one of Scandinavia’s most sought-after story tellers through dance and physical theatre. She has worked as a choreographer, mainly within theatre, opera and musical theatre around the world. She made an impact in Sweden in 2017 and 2018 with two major productions: My Fair Lady at Stockholms Stadsteater and West Side Story at Malmö Opera. Signe’s work has taken her to leading stages such as the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, Wiener Staatsoper, Sydney Opera House, NCPA Beijing and Bregenzer Festspiele.
