För elfte året i rad presenterar Dansalliansen ÖPPEN SOMMARTRÄNING som är utan kostnad för professionella frilansdansare och ingen föranmälan krävs. Workshopen arrangeras i samarbete med ilDance/Gaga Sweden.
Gaga är det rörelsespråk som utvecklats av Ohad Naharin under många år, parallellt med hans arbete som koreograf och konstnärlig ledare (1990-2018) av Batsheva Dance Company. Gaga ger en ram för att upptäcka och stärka kroppen med flexibilitet, uthållighet, smidighet och koordination och samtidigt stimulera alla sinnena och fantasin.
Gaga / dancers klasser fördjupar dansarens medvetenhet om fysiska förnimmelser, genom att utöka sina möjligheter av tillgängliga rörelsealternativ, förbättra sin förmåga att nyansera energi och använda sin explosiva kraft, och berika rörelsekvaliteten med ett brett utbud av olika texturer. Under klasserna guidas dansaren av läraren för att introducera nya rörelseutmaningar, där läraren uppmanar deltagarna att våga besöka mer okända platser för att kanske upptäcka nya möjligheter till rörelse i kroppen.

OBS! Sommarträningen sker i Dansalliansens studio som ligger på Ryssviksvägen 2 i Finntorp i Nacka.

Emma Rozgoni was born in Sweden and holds her BA degree in dance from the National Academy of Arts, Oslo. After years of researching Gaga, with Ohad Naharin and the Batsheva Dance Company, freelancing and performing in Amsterdam and Israel, and a year at the Gaga Teacher Program, Emma became a certified teacher of the movement language in 2012. Emma's teaching resume includes GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, Cullbergbaletten, Carte Blanche Dance Company, Skånes Dance Theatre, Iceland University of the Arts, Dans- and Teateralliansen among others. Emma is also co-manager and initiator of ‘Metamorphosis- Improvisation and Movement Research Festival.’ in Ytterjärna, Sweden.
Lee Brummer is an independent choreographer, international guest teacher and educator based in Sweden who frequently works both across Sweden and internationally. Lee is the Associate Director and co-founder of ilDance, an independent and international contemporary dance company and organisation based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Lee studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance where she also completed her BA and teaching degree in 2007. She studied psychology, theatre and pilates alongside her career as a dancer and choreographer. In 2019 Lee became a certified Gaga teacher though the Gaga teachers training programme under the artistic direction of Ohad Naharin, Bosmat Nossan, and Saar Harari. As a dancer Lee worked with the Bat Dor Dance Company (Israel), The Emanuel Gat Dance Company (Israel) and with various independent choreographers across Europe. She has worked as choreographer’s assistant in a variety of dance productions and musicals in Sweden and abroad.
Over the years Brummer has been teaching and working with companies such as: DV8, Australian Dance Theatre, Sydney Dance Company, National Dance Company Wales and Norrdans to name a few. She has been guest teaching at open professional classes, schools and universities worldwide and has been choreographing her own work within different international structures since 2010.
